Quilting · sewing

Progress has been made.

I think the crafty birthday presents last week inspired me because I was feverishly putting the blocks together for my “Happy Days” quilt.

Just need the sashing and borders added and it will be ready to be quilted. I’ll try and do that this weekend, although I have come down with the dreaded lergy and hope I have the energy to do it. I’ve lost my voice so Hubble is deliriously happy.

I am loving my Go Big Accuquilt. It is so easy to cut up your fabric and where I was getting 13 hexis per piece of fabric, with the Go Big I’m getting 14 hexis per piece. And hardly any waste! I can’t wait to buy more dies.

Lastly I have found this great quilting show on Craftsy.com. It’s called the Midnight Quilting Show with Angela Walters. She not only makes the most beautiful quilts but she is funny, witty and really down to earth. The shows run for between 7 and 15 minutes and I really recommend you check it out if you love quilting.

Well that’s all for now.

Until next time…happy creating!
